മസ്‌കത്ത്: ഒമാനില്‍ ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ (ഇവി) ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള ഏകീകരിച്ച നിരക്കുകള്‍ ഒക്ടോബര്‍ ഒന്ന് മുതല്‍ പ്രാബല്യത്തില്‍ വരും. ചാര്‍ജറിന്റെ ശേഷിയും ചാര്‍ജിങ് വേഗതയും അനുസരിച്ച് കിലോവാട്ട് മണിക്കൂറിന് 50 മുതല്‍ 120 ബൈസ വരെയാണ് നിരക്ക്.

പൊതുസേവനങ്ങളുടെ നിയന്ത്രണ അതോറിറ്റിയുടെയും ഒമാന്‍ നെറ്റ് സീറോ സെന്ററിന്റെയും സഹകരണത്തോടെ ഗതാഗത, വാര്‍ത്താവിനിമയ, വിവരസാങ്കേതിക മന്ത്രാലയമാണ് പുതിയ നിരക്കുകള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.

90 കിലോവാട്ട് വരെയുള്ള ചാര്‍ജറുകളില്‍ കിലോവാട്ട് മണിക്കൂറിന് 50 ബൈസയും 91 മുതല്‍ 180 കിലോവാട്ട് വരെ കിലോവാട്ട് മണിക്കൂറിന് 90 ബൈസയും 181 കിലോവാട്ടോ അതില്‍ കൂടുതലോ കിലോവാട്ട് മണിക്കൂറിന് 120 ബൈസയുമാണ് നിരക്ക്.

സര്‍വീസ് സ്‌റ്റേഷനുകളില്‍ ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള ചെലവ് പെട്രോള്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും കുറവാണ്. നിലവില്‍ ഷെല്‍ ഒമാന്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിങ്, ഫസ്റ്റ് ഇലക്ട്രിക് വെഹിക്കിള്‍ കമ്പനി എന്നിവയാണ് ചാര്‍ജിങ് പോയിന്റുകള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടുതല്‍ ഓപ്പറേറ്റര്‍മാര്‍ നിലവില്‍ പദ്ധതിയുടെ സാധ്യതാപഠന ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലാണ്.

ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹന ചാര്‍ജിങിനായി 'ചാര്‍ജര്‍ ആപ്പ്' എന്ന ഏകീകൃത ദേശീയ പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമും മന്ത്രാലയം വികസിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒമാനിലെ വിവിധ ചാര്‍ജിങ് സേവനദാതാക്കളുടെ പോയിന്റുകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ഒരൊറ്റ പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമിലൂടെ ഉപയോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് ലഭിക്കും.

Muscat: Unified rates for charging electric vehicles (EV) in Oman will come into effect from October 1. Rate is 50 to 120 baisa per kilowatt hour depending on charger capacity and speed. Ministry of Transport, Communications and IT announced rates in cooperation with Authority for Public Services Regulation and Oman Net Zero Centre. 50 baisa per kWh for chargers up to 90 kW, 90 baisa for 91-180 kW, 120 baisa for 181 kW and above. Cost of charging at service stations still lower than petrol vehicles. Currently Shell Oman Marketing and First Electric Vehicle Company operate charging points, more operators in feasibility stage. Ministry also developed unified national platform 'Charger App' providing information on charging points of various providers.
